Dress Code

Students are to dress cleanly and modestly in a way that reflects respect for the Christian education they are receiving. Parents should use the following guideline to help their children choose appropriate clothing to wear to school:

Clothing which advertises or portrays alcohol, bars, tobacco, musical groups, weapons, demonic symbols, or uses words to display an un-Christian attitude will not be allowed. Tank tops, tight, revealing, or torn clothing will not be permitted. Open-toe shoes require socks. Shorts may be worn in September, October, April, May, and June. They are to be no shorter than 1 inch below the fingertips when standing and no longer than 3 inches below the knee. Skirts and skorts also are not to be shorter than 1 inch below the fingertips and the length of capri pants should be below the knee when sitting.

Bizarre haircuts and unnatural coloring are not allowed. Boys are not allowed to wear earrings, and girls should avoid excessive make-up.
